Randy,
This will run only on phones with the ability to store the video as a file
(avi, 3gp, wmv) somewhere in its memory, and an internet navigator to browse
and post it to your web server. And if your phone has a GPS, you may also
imagine some cool application.
A simple way to test it : On a cell phone connected to the Internet, record
some videos, go to Gmail, select "basic html" (the only way to attach a
file, the "mobile" version doesn't allow it), compose an email and attach
your files.
The target is to write a script to upload the video file (or image, audio,
...) to your own server. Then you will have to encode it in flv, and store
it in your Red5 server for streaming, or an http server for progressive
download.
Things are so easy when you know how to do it... it justs needs time !
Regards,
Fred.
